The first Fair Trade coffee-roasting plant in the Czech Republic, Mamacoffe is the right place for all coffee lovers. 100% arabicas of various tastes and smells, own vegeratian kitchen, decently furnished interior it all affects beneficially the senses. In 2008 the first cafe of this kind was open at Vodickova street. Since then there are 6 more of them that started up along the city center. So far, I´ve been only in the fist mentioned cafe, photos that you can see here were taken there.
The glass walls of the cafe allows its visitors to be „in“ and „out“ at the same time. It opens up the space to the life on the street and to the pulsing surroundings, the interier is approching the exterier. Everytime I´m here I sit on the first floor where I enjoy observing both life on the street and what is happening at the bar. If you find yourself to be lost looking at the large offer of coffee an experience stuff will willingly help you. You can also choose from hight-quality tea, homemade beverages or wine. Mamacoffee is simply a unique place that combines high-quality coffee and domestic atmosphere.
I figured out that Mamacoffee is my most favourite place where I go to work with my laptop. Perhaps it´s due to its simple interior that makes one to be focused. In fact the interior of this cafe reminds the ones in Scandinavia where there´s a big impact to the design of a bar and that provide plenty of light due to the big windows.
It´s evident that this cafe is running by a group of young enthusiasts who try not only to spread awareness about coffee through its serving, a purchase and workshops but also they attempt to help those in need. It all began with an e-shop with freshly roasted coffee and a trip to Etiopia that influenced the further direction. Later on the first Mamacoffee was open. By buying any type of coffee here you will support people in need in Etiopia.
Everytime when I go to Mamacoffee I have a feeling that I´m in good hands 🙂 Not only high-quality processing of coffee but also it´s preparation is guaranteed. Even if you are not a fan of coffee after visiting this place you will start loving it!
